This Privacy Policy describes how Handoff ("Handoff," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit handoffassistants.com (the "Site"), book a call with us, or otherwise interact with our services.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you book an intro call through our scheduling tool or contact us by email, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, and any details you provide about your business and needs (for example, your answer to our booking questions).

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our third-party partners automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with the Site, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location, and the referring page. This is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

Cookies, pixels & analytics

You can also limit tracking by adjusting your browser's cookie settings, using private browsing, or using industry opt-out tools such as aboutads.info.

Scheduling & third-party services

We use trusted third-party services to operate the Site and our business. Each processes your information under its own privacy policy:

• Calendly — powers our call booking. When you book, your name, email, phone number, and answers are processed by Calendly (privacy policy).
• Meta Platforms — advertising measurement and delivery, as described above.
• Google Workspace — our email and calendar. Messages you send us are stored there (privacy policy).
• Netlify — hosts the Site and processes standard server logs (privacy policy).

Job applicants

If you apply to work with Handoff, we collect the information you submit through our application form or send to careers@handoffassistants.com. This typically includes your name, contact details, location and timezone, work history, education, skills, tools and industry experience, availability, rate expectations, résumé, and — for roles involving client phone contact — a voice sample you record and share with us. You may also choose to provide references or a LinkedIn profile.

We use this information to evaluate your application, contact you about current and future openings, and match candidates to client roles as they become available. Application data is collected through Google Forms and stored in Google Workspace.

Retention. Because roles open on an ongoing basis, we keep applicant information in our talent database so we can contact you when a suitable role appears, and we periodically check whether you are still available. You can ask us to update or delete your application at any time by emailing careers@handoffassistants.com.

References. We will not contact the references you provide without letting you know first.

How we use your information

• To schedule, prepare for, and conduct the calls you book with us
• To evaluate job applications and match candidates to available roles
• To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services
• To operate, analyze, and improve the Site and our marketing
• To measure ad performance and reach people likely to be interested in our services
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above (who process it on our behalf or under their own policies), when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@handoffassistants.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails or by contacting us.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
